Dr Harmanpreet Chahal, Dentist
Dr Chahal was drawn to dentistry because it combines art and science in a way that allows her to help people. She’s passionate about improving people’s smiles and believes a smile has its own language that allows us to say more than we can with words alone.
Beyond the artistry involved in dental work, Dr Chahal loves performing surgical procedures and making the dental experience comfortable and low-stress for her patients.
Dr Chahal received her dental education and training in India, graduating in 2014. She has been a practising dentist since then and is a member of the Australian Dental Association and the Royal Australian College of Dental Surgeons. She will be pursuing advanced education in orthodontics and implants in the near future.

From a young age, Dr Ishfaq was inspired to pursue dentistry after a memorable visit to the dentist as a child. She was struck not only by the care and kindness shown to her, but also by the calm and welcoming environment of the clinic. That experience stayed with her, and as Dr Ishfaq grew older, she developed a strong interest in healthcare and helping others.
“Dentistry offered the perfect combination of science, hands-on work, and personal interaction, all within a setting that had once made such a positive impression on me. That early inspiration ultimately guided me towards choosing this rewarding profession.”
Dr Ishfaq graduated in 2009 with her bachelor’s degree in Dentistry and MPhil in Community Dentistry. She continues to grow professionally through ongoing education, with a particular interest in fixed prosthodontics. Her commitment to professional development helps her provide up-to-date, high-quality care for every patient.
For Dr Ishfaq, the most fulfilling aspect of working in the dental field is being able to make a real, tangible difference in people’s lives – whether it’s relieving someone’s pain, restoring their confidence through a beautifully enhanced smile, or helping them maintain long-term oral health.

When Dr Ishfaq isn’t caring for patients’ smiles, she enjoys baking, cycling, and water colouring.

Dr. Zainab Zahid is a dedicated and compassionate dentist who has completed her Australian Dental Council (ADC) certification, marking a significant milestone in her professional journey. With a Bachelor of Dental Surgery and comprehensive clinical experience both overseas and in Australia, Dr. Zahid brings a patient-centered approach to modern dentistry. She is passionate about preventative care, restorative treatments, and educating patients to achieve long-term oral health. Known for her gentle manner and attention to detail, Dr. Zahid is committed to delivering high-quality care in a welcoming environment. She is excited to be serving her community and continuing to grow her skills in all areas of general dentistry.

Ravinder Chahal, Practice Manager
Ravinder Chahal is Dr Chahal’s husband and our practice manager. It has always been their dream to open a family-run dental practice, and Mr Chahal is delighted to support both the business side of Hume Dental Hub and the patient care side. With a decade of experience in a customer-focused industry, he’s skilled in interacting with our team and patients alike.
Mr Chahal is available to answer questions, ensures that our equipment and inventory are of the highest quality, and always has a smile for our patients, making them feel like part of our family.
When he’s not managing our busy dental practice, Mr Chahal stays active with long walks and spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys cooking and experimenting with new dishes.
